The Second Best Son that Ever Existed!!

I am continuelly amazed by my little man and I know he came straight from heaven and not me, I am here just to enjoy the ride with him.

My friend Aurie asked Mason what he wants for Christmas this year. He hummed and haaed a bit then stuggled his shoulders. He said, "You know what my favorite thing about Christmas is?" "No, What?" we asked. "That we get to remember Jesus and learn more about Him." I think both of our jaws dropped to the floor! OH, how I love this little man, he never ceases to amaze me.

Hanging out with Nick

Craving Pumpkins for FHE

We carved our Pumkins for our Group FHE
the monday before Halloween The men had fun planning and carving... The ladies painted, made earrings,
while the little ladies chased each other and played together.
(Poor Mason, he was all alone.)
Our poor pumpkins didn't even last til Halloween,
they molded and caved in...
anyone else have this problem??
So no finished product pictures =(

Halloween, starting right w/ a Party!

Cowboy, Pirate, Bumblebee (the Transformer) &
Our Fairy Princess...
thanks mom for helping me make the headband!
Little Harry Potter
Grease!
Zorro, Superman, & that 90's girl
Prince Charming, Cinderella & Tinkerbell

Our friends, Mark & Aubrey, started our Halloween celebrating off with a awesome party the friday before Halloween. We had so much fun dressing up this year-we were making up for doing nothing last year.

Everyone looked great and Mark & Aubrey make a spook-ally, had a live ghost...sorry didn't get pictures.

Unfortunately, Mason got sick so we had to go home early-he was fine the next day so we're pretty sure that he just ate too much cookie dough while making cookies with mommie.

Aida-Fun in St. George

Tuacahn Amphitheatre
Can you say Relaxed?!
My parents invited us to stay in St. George with them to stay in one of their friends second home for the weekend. It was a wonderful, relaxing weekend.

Thanks Mom and Dad!

Football BYU VS UNLV

Yes, to all of you advid BYU fans...
we cheered for our local team UNLV.
We have no allegance to BYU and
since we're both thinking of getting our Masters here...
we'll be true Vegasites.
Though UNLV was beat badly,
by the end of the game we were an exteme minority.
A shout out for Free tickets from John's work again!
We had third row seats!
(Excuse the picture...I had to take it myself w/ camera phone)

Sunday Pictures

So i made a goal to take a picture of the kids on sundays once a month, they look SO adorable all dressed up...more next month.

Our little Soccer player

Goal!!
Always running at the back of the crowd

Our little soccer man
Run Fast!
Our Stake is doing a soccer league, which is great! Every Thursday evening we go and Mason plays soccer with his friends. He has improved SO much, though it can be difficult for me as a soccer lover to watch the kids daydream and not be aggressive...John reminds me that's not what it's about...what can I say, I'm a soccer mom.

Daddy daughter love

I love that John adores his little girl!
She has him wrapped around her little finger,
like I never imaged possible. John loves to do Elise's hair, which I find so adorable!
Every other week or so, while John is watching the kids he gets out the hair bows, curling iron, gel and mousse and fixes her hair all cute. Then when I get home he wants to go out and show her hair off in public. He actually has helped me to try new things-like mousse makes her hair SO cute with little curls in the back!
