Our House

As per Heidi's request the following are pictures of the house we are currently renting and think we will stay in for a couple of years. And if you noticed we are trying to sell our SUV-so if anyone's looking we are selling it for less than trade-in.

This is the Front Room-our furniture fit much better in this room than it did in the Vernal house.
We love the 9ft ceilings.

This is the great room (or Kitchen/family room). Yes, we have a fireplace and we have used it once-but just for a romantic dinner in front of the fireplace-I don't think we will ever really need it for heat here, but it's fun. The sliding glass doors off the kitchen lead to the back yard. (just so you know the curtains are NOT my taste at all! It was the model home for Richmond American Homes-and you know how some decorators are with Model homes.)
This is the small back yard, but we love that it is completely fenced and No maintance (though I do miss some of the flowers and yard work from our old house). Mason loves that he is free to go outside whenever he wants to. We even have some of the neighbor kids who sit on the fence and talk to him, blow bubbles with him, etc.
Oh, if you're wondering-no we don't keep the grass that green-it is FAKE GRASS. It's actually kindof nice and soft and again no work to keep green.

This is the guest room--You're room when you come to visit us!! I know it's not much, but the bed is comfortable and there are really good books to read! Also you will get your own bathroom (sorry I didn't think to take a picture of the bathroom, but it has a full size tub just for you). And it's downstairs away from the baby's room so she won't wake you in the morning...are you enticed to visit us yet? Oh, John also makes the best french toast.

This is OUR MASTER SUITE! Yes we have a suite-like in a hotel, only it's nicer and we get to enjoy it every day. Seriously, our room and bathroom are the same size as the great room downstairs (kitchen and family room). It's great! And we get our own bathroom with a big garden tub and seperate glass shower. We are so blessed. Oh, I also forgot to take a picture of the closet-it's as big as Elise's room was in the Vernal house (well almost). We love it!

This is our small built in office-my work zone. It's not always this clean, but you don't have to know that.

And this is Mason's room (the wall paper and curtains have fish on them.) Mason says almost every night, "I like my fish room, Mom." The ocean/blue stuff doesn't exactly go with the wall paper/curtains but oh well I'm not going to go buy all new just yet.

This is Elise's room, it has sea shell wall paper.

This is the view from the front of our house, they are currently building houses across the street, but other than those few houses you see there is nothing but sage bush and hills to the North of us. It's nice not to be in the center of the city. We still get to feel like we are in a smaller town and it's not too hectic. Our neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful; kids even play in the streets and we have an ice cream man who comes around every day.

Beautiful...... I especially like the fake grass!!!!!!! They are really getting creative down there. It used to just be landscaping with whatever was available (ie rocks, boulders, creasote bushes etc.....) Looks fantastic!!!!! Enjoy the summer-- please tell me you have central air?!
